I think you are maybe rigth but it can be to star wars too. (Joking, there no british accent in star wars if I'm remember correctly) Seriously, that must be the dubbing reason but you should say when america fougth to be free cause I'm Canadian and what I remember the most is that contrary to America, Canada lost to the "British" and thus we did not win our liberty and we are still under English, so either I am one of the British descendant or I'm a rebel (that losed they're rebellion) descendant, so if I were to inspire a FF, I would not be having the good role...
